M7 Analyst is a powerful program.  The M7 Stocks Assistant option takes that power several levels higher.  You need supporting software to make all this possible.  When you see the system operate, you'll better understand why we had to do what we have done.  The list below is a bare minimum.  There are no shortcuts or substitutions.  

Here's the minimum you must have to operate the M7 Analyst:

• Windows 98/2000

• Excel 2000

Here's the minimum you must have to operate the Stocks Assistant option:

• Windows 2000 Professional or better

• Excel 2000

• SQL Server 2000 Personal or better (4 Month Free Demo available at http://microsoft.com/sql)

• RaceCom Stocks Database (Free Download)

• RaceCom M7 Update (Free Download to keep Stocks database current)

These download files are all self-extracting zip files.  
Copy each to a new directory and double click to unzip.  After M7 Analyst is unzipped, double click on 'setup.exe' to install the program.  After installation, M7 Analyst is invoked by starting Excel 2000 and selecting 'M7 Analyst' from the Excel 'Tools' option on the main Excel menu bar.  

Once M7 Analyst is installed, you will have to return to the RaceCom web site to obtain a password.  In order to register your copy you will be asked for your serial number.  The serial number is displayed on the program log in screen and in the 'About' box.  After you register, the password will be emailed to you immediately.  The password will be unique to your computer.
